"Where do I begin to describe what an amazing impact Yogi Shyamasundaraji has made on my life? A better question would be, where do I stop? In the eight years since I've known Yogiji, I've experienced such profound healing and spiritual growth, I don't know where I'd be without him. With him I've met enlightened beings, seen angels and divine entities, enjoyed the deepest meditations and the greatest bliss I've ever known. Since using techniques he showed me for manifesting abundance, I've gone from a job that was draining my life, through a series of interesting, skill developing projects, to an exciting position with a major company at nearly twice the pay and a hundred times the satisfaction. I am calmer, happier, more successful, and more contented than I've ever been.
Physically, Yogi Shyamasundaraji has healed me of chronic headaches, back pain, digestive problems, and anxiety, and I'm never less than amazed by the results. Time and again he has dramatically reduced or eliminated severe head pain, intestinal cramps, and vertigo in minutes with his blessings, often from miles away. He has frequently amazed me by not only healing, but also determining the true source of my pains, such as headaches caused by liver problems or cramps triggered by guilt. He's done the same for my parents as well, even though they are 3000 miles away.
Recently I had the flu and was suffering a 102 degree fever. Yogi Shyamasundara ji blessed me, and within an hour my fever broke. I was even able to go to work the next morning.
I could go on and on with examples of Yogiji's incredible holy gifts, but I have to stop somewhere. So I will simply conclude by saying I have never met a kinder, more compassionate, more gifted, holy being than Yogi Shyamasundaraji. I consider myself greatly blessed just to have met him.

I was deeply touched and inspired by your profound dharma on Radha Krishna, their truly Divine relationship and its deeper spiritual meanings. I wanted to write and express my deepest gratitude to you for the amazing experience I had upon receiving your blessings yesterday. As you know I had retinal detachment surgery two days before your blessings and the morning after I received your amazing Blessings, my eye is now half as red as it was before and all the pain and swelling are gone. The Dr. told me my eye would be red and swollen for about four weeks and you've helped me to heal overnight!!
When you gave your blessing I felt and saw the most amazing thing.... a thousand angel wings felt as if they flew through my eyelids all at once, and I saw violet, glowing white feathers rushing through my eyes, then tears started to stream down my face. "Dear Yogi Shyamasundara,
I had done a few meditations on my own and a few yoga classes before meeting you. But I was not "that person" to get caught up in all the "hoopla". I am a very realistic linear thinking person. I came to you out of desperation to have a second child. I had been trying for over two and a half years with one miscarriage. I was recommended to you by a doctor I had recently seen who had been to you. I came to you with an open mind because of my desperation. I was about to do my IVF session and wanted to calm myself and negate my mind of all the negative things that had been told to me about my chances of ever having another child. I had a long discussion with you and then your service and felt very relaxed but not really any different. Same thing with the second service. The third service was totally different, as you had said it would be. It was a very uncomfortable session. I felt like my body was out of control. I kept jerking and I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. It was a very uncomfortable experience but you said it was a good thing. I did feel different after your services. I felt like I had a coat of arms around me to protect me from the negative things that were being said to me. I was told that I only had a 4 percent chance of ever getting pregnant and actually having the baby. I was also told that I had a less than one percent chance of having multiples. I am now three and a half months pregnant with twins and they are thriving. I really believe, and I was not a believer, that your blessings really made a huge difference! "I found myself at my lowest point. I had been praying, meditating, and just hoping that I would feel better. Since this feeling was new to me, I couldn't quite understand what to do or how to get out of the feeling. While visiting Ammachi, I had the blessing of receiving blessings from Yogi Shyamasundara. I cannot even begin to explain the shift I began to feel on an energetic level almost immediately. After a few services, I found myself unbelievably blissed out. I felt my worries just melt away, and for the first time in a long time, I was able to go through my days not worrying about the outcome. Laughter and Joy feel my heart. Unexplained joy is how I can describe it. It has only been a couple of days, and this has been my experience. I am certain that my entire life is transforming. "It's been about a year since I went to my first meditation at your temple, and about 11 months since my first session with you. I marvel at the changes I have gone through and the progress I have made since then. When I think back to the grief-stricken state I was in a year ago, with almost no understanding of the Divine, my true soul nature, the laws of karma and reincarnation, etc. etc. I am amazed. I could not have handled the death of my brother as well as I did had it not been for my spiritual growth over the 9 months prior.
I have you and God (and maybe some work and perseverance on my part) to thank for my growth.
Over the past 3-4 months, in addition to meditation, I have been doing a lot of spiritual reading and have been learning a lot. Admittedly it is all "intellectual" knowledge, but it has helped with my understanding. I know I have a long long long way to go. I yearn for the Experience of God, to Know, even for a moment, my true Self and to Know Oneness would be incredible gift of grace. That experiential knowledge would truly eclipse everything I've learned.
What I want to say in appreciation is I am just starting to really deeply understand and appreciate how "hard won" your spiritual knowledge and experience really is. How much work, effort, time, money, dedication you have put into your journey which has enabled you to acquire what you have acquired. I appreciate that you then sift through and synthesize what you've learned and pass it along to your students. That is a rare gift of ability and generosity. What's more, I can understand, though I'm not sure I can articulate at all, how most of us (and certainly myself of a few months back) can be mislead by appearances and not really realize or understand the depths to which you have gone and what incredible wisdom you impart to us. Just as when I saw my first enlightened being, I really didn't understand what an enlightened being was. I'd like to say your "normalness" tends to obscure your achievements, but I'm not sure you ever come off as "normal". Actually, as I write this, I realize that for a while it was my limited perspective which kept me from seeing you and all you had to offer."
I see that now as I read things and think, oh yeah, Yogi Shyamasundara said this or that, etc. I wish I could have a do-over, as there is so much you taught that went over my head in this past year. I need to go re-read my notes and hope I captured what I need to learn. Just like I am re-reading Autobiography of a Yogi, and discovering how much is in it that I didn't understand then and do now. I hope that as I continue to learn from you and others and continue to grow that when I re-read things a year hence, I will discover even more depth not yet accessible to me. I thank God for all I have learned and experienced and ask for continued growth and experience.

I can not believe how lucky I am to have crossed your path. I absolutely adore you, I admire you & I am inspired by you. I have prayed for my next teacher and its crazy how easily and wonderfully you magically appeared. I don’t know exactly where it is I am going, but I also don’t really care because I can feel the hand of God guiding my way. Last night's meditation was, as always, quite special. After going through the meditation, when you started offering blessings, I felt very calm and peaceful and then SLAM, I was hit with an energy that felt like it broke through my energy field. I gasped out of surprise and then saw a human sized Buddha sitting in front of me! It was white-gold and was surrounded by golden sparkles. Then there was a flash of very bright white light. I was filled with warmth, vibration and bliss.
I feel like this Buddha energy is still with me today! Thank you for a very profound experience!
Your blessings are incredible! So much healing going on! My sweet friend Kindall was one of two friends I included in your service. I called her afterwards and her mind was blown! She could feel Yogi Shyamasundara's blessings. She felt Lakshmi and was surrounded by gold coins and gold light. She saw herself wearing a pink robe with Lakshmi on the back! She had no idea she was a part of the service, she just felt Yogi Shyamasundara's blessings! These services are so powerful! I can't even describe the healing I felt in my body. Yesterday I had different experiences in each service. During first service I disappeared into pure consciousness. At one point you had us lay down and the next thing I knew you were telling us to put our hands back down on our laps as we prepared for the closing breaths. I had disappeared for the whole session. When this happens its a little confusing, like what just happened?!!!
During the second session I was blessed with the experience of seeing white-golden light when we laid down. Usually when I notice something like this it goes away in a split second, but this time it didn't it stayed for quite a while. I also saw blue light when we were addressing Krishna and this kept coming and going throughout the process. I also saw green light during Ganesha and yellow light!
I am so grateful to have shared in this Divine love and compassion from you and all the Buddhas and Divine emanations.

Thank you so much for your help.
You spent so much time talking to me and helping me with my ordeal, and to finally put some clarity that words cannot describe how thankful I am.
I was in a place where I felt I did not belong. I was unbelievably depressed, anxious, and pretty much felt every single symptom that you might have seen listed in one of those "anti-depression" medication commercials. I was deeply frustrated, would wake up crying every morning. That is if I even slept! The first healing session alone, I felt how in tune you were with everything I was feeling. Last night I had the most wonderful dream and you were in it!! You were healing me and another person who was laying down next to me. You got to our legs, you did her legs first, and then my legs. You told her you felt her kundalini energy rising, and then when you came to me, you said the same thing. You took your hands and hovered them over my body and went quickly up from my toes to my stomach, and the energy was SO strong that it woke me up out of my sleep!! It was incredible!!
I also wanted to share with you a repeated experience that I have had during your Krishna Darshan services. I often start experiencing your energy (Shakti) during the dharma in the beginning. I ignored it for a while because I thought, "He hasn't started the blessings yet, I must not really be feeling this." Then, one of the last times I was on the line, you talked about how we are receiving blessings long before we even get started. And then it occurred to me that what I am feeling is your beautiful blessings even though you are only still in the dharma part of the session! It is like a pulsing of electricity or energy that surges through my body. With every word you speak, it's like a shock through my body. I can feel the vibration over every inch of my body. Thank you so much for all of your beautiful blessings for me and for everyone around you. You are such a gift, thank you for sharing!"

The following letter was given to Yogi Shyamasundara when he was only 18 years old (over 29 years ago), demonstrating the impact Yogiji already had on others at a young age. DeSorrow would be his roommate for two months while attending an engineering program at the University of Houston:
"You may have already heard me say something to this effect before, but I'm going to say it again. I have been in existence on this earth for almost 18 years and not once have I met a person as dynamic, talented, determined, and self-disciplined as you. I have been in school for 12 years and yet I have never learned as much from one person as I have from you. Out of all the important people in my life, none have influenced me as much as you have. (That includes my parents by the way.) I know how modest you are, but you deserve credit where credit is due. I can't even begin to tell you how blessed I am to come across a friend like you. You already know how I try to hide and mask my emotions. Yet no matter how hard I try, tears still come to my eyes as I write this letter. To get to the point, I just wanted to say thank you for all have done for me and to wish you good luck on the long and difficult road to achieving your goals and dreams. I am sure that all I have learned from you will be very beneficial in helping me to achieve my goals as well. Keep up the good work, never let your guard down, and continue to help others as you have done for me."
